Donald Trump Pays for His Random Babbling, Has No Support of Hollywood Celebrities!

Karma has a weird way of working but when it hits someone, the person is entirely doomed. The statement: “What goes around comes back around” perfectly describes the situation of the Republican candidate, Donald Trump. Trump, who is famous for poking people, disgracing others and even discriminating different nationals, was served well in the recent political convention.

Seems like his plan to gain the trust of celebrities and thus convincing people to vote for him failed badly. In April, he revealed his plan to Washington Post . He said: “It’s very important to put some showbiz into a convention, otherwise people are going to fall asleep.”

But his plan turned to ashes when no celebrity appeared to support him during the convention. On the contrary, the Democrat leader, Hilary Clinton has achieved the support of many famous names.

"Tonight, we've reached a milestone in our nation's march toward a more perfect union: the first time that a major party has nominated a woman for president. Standing here as my mother's daughter, and my daughter's mother, I'm so happy this day has come. Happy for grandmothers and little girls and everyone in between. Happy for boys and men because when any barrier falls in America, it clears the way for everyone. When there are no ceilings, the sky's the limit. So let's keep going…until every one of the 161 million women and girls across America has the opportunity she deserves to have. Because even more important than the history we make tonight, is the history we will write together in the years ahead." —Hillary

The stars supporting Hilary include Demi Lovato, Bradley Cooper, Morgan Freeman, Boyz II Men, Katy Perry, Paul Simon, Lena Dunham, America Ferreira, Elizabeth Banks, Eva Longoria, Jane Fonda, Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz, Chloë Grace Moretz, Meryl Streep, Sigourney Weaver, Angela Bassett, Carole King and Sarah Silverman. The Kardashians also revealed that they don’t want to see Trump in the White House, thus showing their support for Hilary.

When Trump analysed the situation, the shrewd politician took a U-turn and was heard saying: “I think we had, if you include my children and the great success that they had, I would say we had tremendous star power. But I wasn’t looking for star power, I was looking for policy.”

If we compare the number of celebrities supporting the Democratic party vs the Republican party, the result has always been similar. Over the years, celebs have been with the Democratic more than the Republicans. Noticing the 2012 results for the Democrats, celebrities including Sheryl Crow, Jessica Alba,, James Taylor, Scarlett Johansson, The Foo Fighters, showed their support.

While the Republicans gained the support of Jon Voight, American Idol winner, Taylor Hicks, and Clint Eastwood. But this year things have changed. Due to Trump’s negative comments, stars like Tom Brady and Tim Tebow, who supported him initially, left his side.

The real question is why could Trump not gain the trust of famous artists? A political science professor, Mathew Wilson answered the question saying: “For people in these high-profile entertainment fields, association with Donald Trump could be toxic for their careers.”

Trump was not only dumped by Hollywood artists but many famous brands also denied to sponsor his convention. Multinational companies like Coca-Cola, FedEx, Visa, etc declined to be a part of the event. It seems that the Republican must now have learnt his lesson that making fun of the disabled, criticizing other nationals, etc, was not something that he should’ve done.
