Today’s love story on How We Met teaches us about the different colors of love. Here it goes:
Passionate love stories have a way of grabbing you by heartstrings, persisting you to loose yourself in it.
The sun was just above the horizon and a slight breeze was brushing against Sudeshna’s skin, making it tickle a little. Her dark brown hair flew with the direction of the wind, as she tried to think about how she met Abhishek. The voices of people talking and laughing became a sweet soft carnival music in the background, as she got lost in the memories of the past.
Sudeshna Gupta and Abhishek were neighbors. From neighbors, they became friends and soon, they fell in love with each other. They didn’t know how or what led them to feel the way they did, but they were certain they couldn’t live without the other.
It wasn’t like any conventional love story; neither of them proposed each other nor was there any big romantic date. It was the little things he did for her while carrying out mundane activities of life that gave her the hint.
Even after all this time, she remembers every single detail of the times that they spent together. Eyes closed, she re-experienced all those little moments that led them to this day. She hugged herself tight as it dawned upon her that they have made it. So far, they have made it through all the difficulties and ups and downs.
There were times in their lives when they almost fell apart but an invisible bond always held them together, refusing to let them go. Their life was ordinary but together, they turned it into an extraordinary one.
It is indeed true that a woman knows the face of the man she loves, as a sailor knows the open sea.
