Today’s love story on How We Met re-defines the word ‘love’. Here it goes:
What is love? We often hear people saying that love is nothing but wishing for their smile and having a desire to walk with them along a sun-warmed flower boarded path, while holding their hands.
It’s easy to use big words and hold high expectations from the word ‘love’. Thinking that love does not envy, it does not boast and it is not proud, is easy, but holding only on to that can make you fall right on your knees. With love comes sacrifice, pain sometimes a lot of baggage – something no one warns us about.
Ekanki Tyagi was just a random girl living in a big city, Delhi. Many people fantasize of living a luxurious life in a big city where there is a lot of activity. It is only when they live in it do they realize how tiring it can be sometimes. From the excess traffic on roads to the acute housing problems, people face it all on a daily basis.
Ekanki, like many other people, was living a busy, robotic life with not a lot of meaning in it and she would have continued to live like that if it wasn’t for one simple conversation on Facebook. Her life would’ve been completely different now if he never initiated a conversation that day.
They instantly clicked and it was the magic of instant connection that forced him to travel to Delhi all the way from Kanpur, only after three months. Days went by and they kept getting closer.
Their relationship got so intense that only after a month, he decided to move to Delhi so he could see her on daily basis.
This couple that started their journey as friends, who irritate and playfully tease each other, is now about to complete their four years together!
Indeed, it is true when they say that the best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched; they can only be felt with the heart.
