Today’s love story on How We Met teaches us about the factors of love and attraction. Here it goes:
There are many people out there, who want romantic love in their life. However, love is such an abstract feeling that we do not know whether it exists or not. Many people idealize it as the solution to all their problems.
Love isn’t always about rainbows and butterflies, it also requires compromise and a lot of patience. In the journey from birth to death, you sometimes meet someone special. Someone you can be yourself with, someone who promises to keep you happy and that someone is none other than your soul mate.
Manisha Ajmani was sitting in silence, trying to think about how she had met her soul mate, Kartik Dua. She doesn’t remember if the day was bright or cool, if the birds were chirping or the wind was blowing hard, all she remembers is that he came to meet her after a fortnight of conversations.
She was waiting for him and he was running late. She was unbelievably angry, as she checked the time at regular intervals.
As he arrived, there eyes locked. His black shirt, blue denim jeans, and an appealing cologne was enough for her to pardon him. His cheeky attitude and shy nature, perfectly complimented each other. He had an uncanny ability to make her laugh. She could notice that he was nervous but that made her laugh even harder.
Just when she thought that she would die laughing, he popped a question and asked her out on a date. In between all the laughter fits, she said ‘yes’ to him. Since then, they have been together. Indeed, there could have been no two hearts so open, no tastes so similar and no feelings so in unison.
If you are ‘meant to be’ together, then you will go through everything that can tear you apart, yet you will come out of it, stronger than before. Sometimes an adorable infectious laugh or a good humor is enough for you to fall for someone. That is the factor of love, the factor of attraction!
