Selena Gomez just came out of nowhere and dropped a super sexy new track, ‘Trust Nobody.’
The singer took a break from work earlier due to Lupus disease, so fans weren’t expecting any sort of music coming out, but Selena Gomez proved us all wrong!
The Norwegian producer, Cashmere Cat, has released his second track from upcoming album ‘Wild Love’, and he’s got Selena Gomez come along for the ride! The track also features a guest verse from Tony Lanes. Cat is known for his star-studded collaborations with the likes of Kanye West and The Weeknd.
According to MTV: “Compared to Cashmere Cat’s last song with The Weeknd, “Trust Nobody” offers much chiller vibes, even if it’s steeped in the same kind of paranoia that seems to be CC’s trademark these days.”

The song has been produced by Cashmere Cat, Benny Blanco, and Frank Dukes, and co-written by Starrah. The groovy single has a sexy beat and a lot of fast singing; the track features three talented people so it offers quite a lot of versatility. It was released on Friday and you can now listen the whole stream at Apple Music and Spotify.
Selena Gomez collaborated with Cashmere Cat to produce something that matches her celebrated love story that ended in the past. The lyrics of the new track are all about trust issues and a perfect play if you’re dating someone.
‘Trust Nobody’ came out as a complete surprise, as Selena Gomez built no hype and didn’t reveal anything about it.
Before this, she talked to the press about her health. She told PEOPLE:
“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus. I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.” she added “I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off.”
