Whenever you hear the word condom, you will always picture something sexy and full of love or maybe a balloon but that’s always linked to pleasure-seeking.
Condoms have never been designed or updated in years. They have always been the same old pleasure-seeking objects with a safe-sex tag. But now things have changed for condoms and according to Indiegogo, the worth of condoms has almost gone up to $1 million.
Well, no lie. Future condom-owners have donated one million dollars to this Swedish intimacy company, LELO. The company has promised to produce LELO Hex, the condom which the company says is completely redesigned for both pleasure-seeking and effectiveness.
The company says: “LELO Hex comes as a giant leap forward in the fight for great, safe sex – with a structurally different design, that means you can see and feel the difference”.
The newly resigned Lex Hex condom is made up of interlocking latex hexagons, making it one of the strongest and most durable shapes. The condom is so strong that it didn’t break even with a needle.
The major thing about the condom is its structure, which is innovative. According to the company, it has been working on the design for the last seven years.
The $1 billion to LELO’s Indiegogo campaign has come from 30,000 backers ordering 600,000 condoms, where 73 percent of the backers were male. It is not a surprise to see male dominance because LELO has advertised Hex’s enhancement of male pleasure. 36-pack of condoms, if ordered from Indiegogo campaign, cost $35.
LELO was founded back in 2003 and it was already in the market selling sex toys and accessories. This campaign was only for the new product, not the company as a whole. The LELO Hex condoms rolled out to the customers on Friday.
